"Recently" pode ser usado com outros tempos de verbo além do Present Perfect.

Ex.: Bob came back from New York very recently.
He said he had recently been to Australia.

"Recently" pode ser substituído por "lately".

No, he hasn´t watched any recently.
When was the last time he watched one?
He watched one ten days ago.

Have the fishermen caught anything recently? (an hour)
No, they haven´t caugt anything recently.
